She had them on the roost tonight, so I snapped a few of their combs.

Darky on the left, Bubba on the right.

Blurry Bubba. Very very red.

it is too young to tell for sure, but bubba is a boy definitely a boy.

Wow this one's tough. Bubba is the only one I am pretty confident about. Keep an eye on the other two.

Bubba is the only one I am pretty confident about.

If Bubba is not a boy than everything I know about chicken sexing is a LIE.
He has thick yellow legs, upright posture, blocky body, that big red comb and matching wattles, and is notably bigger than his siblings.

Pearl definitely has the smallest comb. She also has the posture of a hen. Feet are unremarkable.

Darky has the most petite frame and smallest feets and legs. HOWEVER, the comb is a fairly good size. But pale.

ill cross my fingers that bubba is the only boy, but you never know..... some develop slowly.

About 6 weeks. End of August chicks, I think the 21st or something like that.
And yeah, I am 110 percent sure Bubba is a cockerel.
