barred easter egger?

It will work.As a plus the lavender cuckoo or barred will not have leg color issues. Not sure why.Welcome to the project.
I believe the barred lavender shank color are on the light side of slate, but still they are slate... would love to see a Lemon Cuckoo Ameraucana..

I had a lemon cuckoo in the easter egger pen a couple of years ago.I think it had light slate legs.It seems the barring gene causes spotted legs on black and blue but not other colors.Same for mottling.Millie fleur have slate legs.

Here is a update on my project. The first two were hatched may 2.Ihave seen yhe cockerel breeding so I gave him a cuckoo hen that is laying. The third pic is a cockerel but he has some solid colored feathers so he only has 1 barring gene also.

Well here's my girls again....They are now 20 weeks old. Are we still thinking Barred EE's? They are not laying yet, so I have no answer as far as egg coloring goes. Hmmm.....not sure about this one, they were supposedly Araucana's when I bought them. LOL!

so what do you think I will get if I cross my crele penedesenca rooster to my 1 lone Blue Ameraucana hen ( she is in with the crele girls anyways)
should I breed there offspring back to the crele?

or should I not try it. I figured I would throw some eggs in the incubator when she starts to lay and see what I get.....
Thanks Jason
