Fairly new to this.

I have hatched two barred plymouth rocks and they are around 15 weeks old now, i have read everywhere you can tell the gender by their colouration, one much darker than the other one, the lighter one is also slightly bigger too. However the darker one is trying to crow like my rooster, this is obviously not normal?? or has anyone experienced the same? or is she just a he?

Thanks for all your help - I will wait a couple of weeks and let you know I really wanted a girl, to add to my breeding flock.
