Barred rock 3 weeks old, pullet or cockerel?

I know they are all individuals, but I love my barred rock rooster.

LOL! It's kind of strange that the one chick has so much white in its breast feathers and on the back of its neck. The others have much less white in the feathers.

Got them from the Wilco farm store, Kelso, WA. So they're not "heritage" quality, I'm sure.

There’s been strange BRs popping up the last couple years that look just like that. All from feed stores or Hoovers.

Yeah you can check out the buy sell trade section of the forum or post on your state thread. I’ve also had good luck with Craigslist.

Yeah. If you could post photos as she grows up, that would be cool to see. I would love to see if her adult feathers are the same.

So interesting. It definitely looks like a pullet, but has the lighter feathering. What a pretty bird. It is a good look on a Barred Rock.
