Barred Rock Boy?

Looks like a BSL male but has yellow skin. Where did you get him from?

We lost a barred rock hen (egg bound) so we wanted to replace her with another barred rock. A local breeder had an ad, so we got 2 from her. We thought they were both hens. We noticed right away they don’t look exactly like the 2 barred rocks we got from the hatchery.

It has a modified pea comb, so he's probably an Easter egger crossed with a barred rock. Sorry you didn't get the pullet you wanted.
