Ill give you my guess and reasoning:Alright. So I just bought 6 Barred Rocks and they were not already sexed and I’ve seen many ways to tell them apart but I just don’t want to be wrong. I would like to know for sure if I have hens like I hoped or half of them being Roosters like last year

Whoever helps me out thank you so so much. I love knowing what the genders will be so I can start thinking of names and make sure I’m not cursed with rooster being thrown at me![]()
Ill give you my guess and reasoning:
1: spot hard to say, legs hen
2: spot hen, legs hen
3: spot hen, legs hen
4 spot hard to tell, legs hen
5: spot hard to tell, legs hen
6: spot hen, legs hen
A roos head spot should be 2 seperate spots and legs should be light not blackwashed. That doesnt mean there arent exceptions but these all look like hens to me. I would still watch for any surprises because of the ones with the hard to tell spots.![]()
