Barred Rock females?

These two chicks were purchased at the same feed store (was told they came from Hoover Hatchery) but the barring is slightly different and one seems to have a bigger and redder comb and longer tail feathers. They should both be female.

Both are pullets. I have a new flock of 9 and have noticed there are slight variations in their growth. Some had longer tails, some grew faster but the others have caught up. Roos have much lighter barring as well.

No. Both appear to be pullets. Some just have bigger combs. Mine did.
