Robin's brood In the last pic of the 7 week olds what breed is the white chick with the balck neck and black lacing I have one very similiar and have no idea what it is.

When you cross a BR rooster over just about anything, you can get a chick like that, LOL. Cuban Longtails hatched quite a few eggs from my flock about year ago and got several that looked similar from my BR roo over Buff Orps, RIRs, etc. The only ones that looked different were the BR over Ameraucana.

It's possible that it just has the worst barring (lacing is more like it) that we've ever seen on a BR, but I've seen so many Br crosses like that. Could be a BR/Wyandotte, by the looks of the pattern on the chest, but hard to say for sure.

You realize I wasn't insulting your chick, right, LOL? I hatched one oddball from my BR flock awhile back. Same parents that produced some awesome kids produced a weirdo cockerel that even tadkerson said was the weirdest barring he'd ever seen. Genes are funny things, Robin.
