Barred Rock Gender Puzzler - Round Two: The Plot/Legs Thicken

I *think* they are barred rocks. The store they came from received their chicks from Cackle that week and they didn't have any Sex-Links in the order. EEs, Brahmas, RIR and BRs. Anything is possible though. I suppose they could have used Sex-Links as packing peanuts, but that would have been pretty evil to put them in there unmarked with the Barred Rocks. They look pretty similar as chicks, don't they?

I know I'm in the minority, but I still think your chick may be a pullet. She has the darker coloring and a dark wash down her legs. Her comb is a little bigger than her friend's, but not that big for 5 weeks. Her wattles aren't any larger than the other chick's wattles, so that's not an indicator either (unless they are both boys

).
