Barred Rock Gender?

Hi! I bought a couple barred rock pullets but one of the chick’s combs is significantly more developed than the other’s. I didn’t know if this was any indication that she is really a he or if she is just going to have a larger comb. They are 5 weeks tomorrow.

(She was very cooperative with letting me get pictures of her comb)

Pullet or cockerel? Any and all thoughts are greatly appreciated

Well if it turns out that way it’s not too bad cause we’ve had all girls so far so he’d be the first boy in our flock

I’m actually thinking possibly pullet. I would expect more red tint to the comb/wattles and more white in the barring if it were a cockerel.

It could still be a cockerel, I think the next 2 weeks will be very telling.
