Barred Rock HEN or ROO - follow up - She's a HEN!!!

Hen - the roosters are lighter in colour!

ETA: My barred rock is my favourite hen. She loves attention. Sits on my lap and talks to me constantly. Your hen looks much younger than mine (6 months old is Dixie's age). Maybe they sold her to you stating the wrong age? Or was she just a chick?

My BR is very food driven. That's how we bonded. It didn't take her long though! I would like to get another, but I'm afraid I would mix them up.

I'm glad that everyone seems to think that she's a pullet. One of my Barred Rocks is named Matilda too. By far the friendliest in my flock.
