Barred Rock? Or Dominique? Hen? Or Roo?

Newbies here!!
When we bought this chick we were told it was a cochin - which is obviously not the case. Which isn't a huge deal but how can we tell if it's a barred rock or a Dominique?

Also, we got it in early March along with a Rhode Island Red and Barnvelder. This little one is significantly smaller than the other two but has bright and big waddle and crown. Please tell me this isn't a rooster because it's the nicest chick we have!!

Yes, barred rock cockerel. Rocks are single combed, Dominique are rose combed. As to gender, a pullet would not have so much development or color in the comb and wattles at this age and the baring in pullets is diffrrent.
