Barred Rock or ????

Her tail feather look like my Silver Cuckoo Maran.

Actually Maran sort of came into my mind, but her legs are yellow.

This doesn't have hackle feathers no a large comb. It's a pullet.

It could also just be a mixed breed with a White chicken and a Barred Plymouth Rock. Where did you order the chickens from?

I ordered her from tractor supply I think they come from Hoover's hatchery

she is the only one from the brown layers mix, day old chicks, ordered from tractor supply that I can't figure out.

And Townline and Hoover (both popular suppliers for TSC) had a meat-type crossbreed that resembled Barred Rock mixes last year. I forget what they were called, and they aren't being offered this year.

Yep, exactly what I said, too. She could very well be a crossbreed- some "production" breed.

Thank goodness my husband named her Fred because I kept calling her a he by mistake and I reaaly hoped that was not foreshadowing.
