Well I think you guys definately called it. We are now calling him Raylan and currently looking for a home for him. He is very sweet and held daily. Doesn't crow yet, is 5 weeks old. If you live in Minnesota and would consider adding him to your flock please let me know. I want him to be well taken care of.

The pullets will sprout no wattles and their combs remain very dull yellowish.

Is this true 100% of the time, that females will not sprout wattles?? Cuz I have a couple of BR babies (3 weeks old) that are supposed to be pullets, and I can see wattles beginning to form!
