Barred Rock thread!!

I am needing some barred rock hens... I am in aurora oregon... anyone on here know where I can get either hatching eggs chicks or full grown birds???

I don't know if you can get hatching eggs, but you can get day old BR chicks from Chickens for Backyards - I love this company.

Hello i don't know if you found what you were looking for but i believe the www.mypetchicken.com has hatching eggs and also day old chicks ..i got my barred rock hens from them last year.
service was fast and friendly..hope that helps

We has PEEPS! I am so EGGCITED! Three Australorps, three Barred Rocks and two Speckled Sussexes! I am so beyond excited! I have little peepers in my living room, chirping away softly!

What sexes do these look like someone said half look like pullets because of the dot on the head. These came as packing peanuts they labeled as male.

They may be Barred Plymouth Rocks the chicks i got last year had that yellowish white dot on their head like yours..here is a couple pics of mine from last year.hope this helps
