Is there a way to tell the difference between cockerel and pulleys at 3 weeks. This one is always alert and braver than the rest of the chicks. Also lots of barring in color already.

Still a little young. Cockerels of PBR have wider white bars. This little one doesn't look overly "white" so I'm leaning towards pullet.
My 3.5 week old PBR pullet is also a bold little thing but so was the first one I had.

I think you have a pullets based on what I have & From what I learned with barred rocks, darker legs are pullets, more defined are roos. Here is my 4 week old rooster & pullets. The roo is facing the camera and the comb is more defined.

That first pic SCREAMS cockerel...lol. I was lucky in that all my PBR's ended up females.

I do think it's a pullet, but maybe post more pictures in a few weeks... just in case lol
