Barred Rock???

I wish she would lay one!! Two of mine (Gold Star and EE) just started last week, they are all now between 7.5 and 8 months old. The last pic I posted was just last week, she seems so young looking yet.

Sadly most hatcheries will cross Barred Rocks, Cuckoo Marans, and Dominiques.
If they have a Rose Comb they call them a Dominiques, if they have a Single Comb there either a Barred Rocks or a Cuckoo Marans depending on leg color at birth.

Sounds like the hatcheries get them mixed together? The BR would have yellow beak and legs + straight comb, I think the dominique would have a rose comb + yellow legs?

I have 11 barred rocks that I purchased fromt he hatchery, they look alot like your pullet. I have pictures of my girls for comparison

mine had whiteish legs
