Barred rocks - 10 weeks

I have two hatchery BR’s that seem to have non standard coloration. They are also much friendlier than the other chickens, rocks included. Seems to be white on black, or penciled almost.

What do you think? Time will tell but it’s fun to guess. Hen or Rooster? Photos are of the two different birds.

They could be pencilled or some other pattern, but there also can be some normal color variation with hatchery stock. I have a few barred hens that are much lighter or darker than the others.

They're pullets and just look like some funky, hatchery-quality Barred Rocks. Not sure why, but lately on the forum they keep appearing from hatcheries
