Barred rocks? Is the one a roo?

We got them april 12 or whenever waster was, so they’re around 3 months. And were sold as asian blacks from tractor supply so i am not sure on the breed either.

I am not positive then. I would say cockerel, but three months old... anyway, I would just wait and see for now. You'll know when they crow!

Heres an update on these guys. Still kinda confused because they do look different from one another.

I think the one in front (on its way into the box) is definitely a boy, even though it has darker barring than one would expect. I think the other one is a cockerel, too. My barred rock is a pullet of the exact same age. She got her baby comb early so I thought she was a boy, but she grew into it. At 13 weeks, she doesn't have anything close to what yours have. Very small comb, just starting to get a little red in the face.

Maybe they aren't barred rocks, so maybe the math is different for a different breed. But if they are BRs, I feel pretty confident they're boys.
