Where???

Alaska/Canada border. Denali isn't near there but 7.1 is a very big quake. They've been having swarms in that area for several days now.

There was also a 7.6 in Japan this morning. Ring of Fire is acting up.

I love love love my birthplace in southern California and miss it horribly but I can't handle any more earthquakes so I don't live there any more. Tore me apart to leave it. I miss it every single day. It truly is a paradise - except for the $@%# earthquakes.

We're creeping back up into the 80s next week. 80s! In the middle of December! It's supposed to be in the mid-sixties. That's twenty degrees too high!

Edit: I was wrong, it's worse than that. The normal high is 65F. The normal mean temperature for mid-December is 53F.

So if it goes up into the 80s that will be THIRTY DEGREES TOO HOT for this time of year.
