Barred Rocks!!

Is there any hatchery I should stay away from, who is selling unfriendly, bad temperament Barred Rocks? Friendliness is a priority for me, so I'd like to,stay away from a hatchery with bad lines. PQ is fine, just must be friendly!
Sorry I don't live anywhere near you? :/

Are there any good breeders who offer a good heritage line of barred rocks. I can only seem to find good quality stock of silver penciled and partridge rocks. I would like to add barred rocks to the welsummer and fbcm on the farm. I live in southeast Indiana.

Are you able to hatch eggs? Are you only interested in chicks? Adult birds?

I love my BR hen, she is people friendly, has a great temperment and lays consistanly. I have not found one thing not to like about her..

My BR named Sandy we got a week ago with the two silkies, I wanted to get some silkies and they were 5 months old so when I went to pick some out there was a BR in the silkie pen my son and I asked why and he said she was the smallest of the BRs and didn't do well always stayed in the corner and then would fly into the silkie pen and eventually they just let her stay there and so she thrived with the silkies so we took her with our two partridge silkie hens and she rested easily in my son's arms, as he carried her to the truck. It's funny how I went to get silkies specifically and came home with BR as well, wouldn't have it any other way. She watches over her silkie girls!
