they are on the larger end.
here is a new pick of some of mine that we got in April.
They so far are pretty consistent layers, but with 4 laying we re seeing quite a difference in their eggs even though they are all the same age. I get from an off white to medium brown egg, some of them have a speckling to them,some are really small and others are extra large. Not sure if that's normal or not. The Rooster is the mixed flock protector and is kinda funny, he is pretty good unless you wear the wrong shoes out in the corral or in the coop, he will try to attack them if you do lol. There are 2 of us that deal with the flock, me he wouldn't dare think of coming after but the other lady if she gets after the hens he thinks about it.
They are pretty easy to train, garden isn't protected and they learned as they like their treats, if we get in the garden we don't get them so they stay out of it pretty much.
Feed wise they are free ranged and get supplemented with fermented feed with garlic added to it. Treats are usually diced up fruit or veggies as they love them. will play tug o war with the duck for lettuce though lol
