Barred Rocks!!

My barred rocks from rural king. Had the 10 chick rebate going on so I had to get 10 and my girlfriend got 10. FREE!! Got 16 barred rocks and 5 amberlinks. Not sure what amberlinks are but they looked better than the RIR chicks did. The person catching them miscounted and I ended up paying for the 20 and got 21.

My precious barred rock of my BYC namesake chased, killed and snarfled down a lizard today! Watching her run around with her trophy held high as the others chased her made me so proud of my little girl. *sniffle*

That is fun to watch them running around with their prize. Seeing one take a lizard would be cool.

They are amazing hunters. Mine actually listen for worms in the ground and dig them up. None of my other breeds even come close to matching their hunting abilities.
