Barred Rocks?

I know this may sound like an akward question but I am starting to wonder if Pickles might be a pullet? How can I tell?

Male Barred Rocks are lighter in color with larger combs. Females are darker with smaller combs.

Gosh, hard to say... Do you have any other Barred Rocks that are the same age?

Nope- was a rescue from the shelter I work at. Came in by itself. =/

Do you have a good picture of the comb?
Looks like a young rooster but also looks like a American Dominique and not a Barred Rock.
