Barred Rocks!

Ahh poor Jet. Maybe he is not abnormal, he just expresses himself in a different way with his fashion

. My poor little EE named Derr is not normal with her bad crooked beak. Gave her that name because everytime she looks at me that is the expression on her face.

Any hope that I am wrong thinking my first an last birds are Roos? I know speckledhen has a hen with roo like coloring. Can I be that lucky and the bird is coloring wrong? If not, anyone want these boys?

Laura, sometimes the BRs break their own sexing rules. My Lexie was thought to be a cockerel till she was about 12 weeks old-she followed all the traits of a male in her coloring, headspot, etc. My Zane was named Zoe when he looked just like his mother for a long time; had in-between color, small comb, etc. Finally, at about 9 weeks old, I realized I had a slow-maturing boy.

We thought maybe Jet was a roo, but now seeing this pics he might be a she. He is a runt, and the others sort of pick on him so when we pet him and stuff he pecks me. Trying to make himself known I suppose. He had a really weird illness. He looked like he was dead and he was barely moving and breathing hard, wouldn't eat or drink. We were watching him then he just stood up and started eating and drinking.

It was the weirdest thing in the world to me. That's why his name is Fighter Jet.
