Bathing chicken

Hi all,

I had to bring my one girl in and bathe her(just used warm water) the others have seemed to have pooped all over her back and it was under her wings and her feathers were all clumped together. She is wrapped in a towel now. I live in MN tonights low is to be around 20ish. How can I completely dry her feathers to go out with her friends?

I've used a hair dryer and that works pretty quickly. Good luck!

Use a blow dryer.

Be careful not to burn her and keep a good distance with the hair dryer.

I kept the dryer on cool and low, she seemed to enjoy it fluffing herself and turning for me. She's all dry and back out with her clan

I'll have to wait for someone to come home then... its in the room with the big ol dog lol. She seems content chilling on my lap while I work so no rush.
