ok i have eggs in my bator the first 2 were supposed to hatch sunday no cigar so i read in my bator manual that i should bump it up a few degrees well i did and my bator went outta control and went to 110 degrees has this 10 degree fluctuatuion ruined all of my eggs. i opened one that was supposed to hatch sunday and its was a perfect lil black chick but dead very sad are they all dead HELLLLLP:(

You didn't say when the others are due to hatch. I usually give them 23-24 days. If none are pipped I usually open a few to see if they are alive or dead. You can hold them to your ear and tape the eggs and see if you can here and peeps. Sorry good luck.

how long was it over 103 degrees?

what sort of instruction book gives that type of information?

there are ways you can tell somewhat if they are alive,,,but at this point of the ballgame I would tell you to leave the bator closed and wait >>>>>>> whats done is done..

In the future..do not attempt to adjust the bator while you have eggs in it, especially that close to hatching.. temps tend to go up on their own as hatching time nears..
I still cannot believe your instruction manual told you to raise the temp..

I am going to stop here...
