Aww they're lovely!Here are some pics of our 2 new gorgeous girls. They are members of the Motley Crüe at present! Very joyous to watch all their firsts - grass, wind, rain, other bird noises (cockatoos, kookaburras, butcherbirds etc.) They are startled but amazed by all these natural things. Both had their first wriggling grub today - what a revelation after only dry pellets all their lives. Too funny to watch! Their most favourite thing is to flop and bask their sparsely-feathered bodies in the winter sun - the very definition of ecstasy.
I have made them a temporary small grass run outside their coop so they can get used to freedom on a smaller scale before giving them full free-ranging rights with our 2 other chooks.

Lovely lady! Her comb is standing up nicely. When she has her new feathers you will have to get her to pose for her glamour shot.
