Battle for Survival - African Wild dog RP (Needs players!!) *Restarted*

The healer released a small sigh, her face tight with grief. "I'll try my best to save him..." she whispered sincerely.
Sierra nodded"Too many have already died today,I don't want him to be added to the list."She sighed, her voice dropping to a whisper. Her shoulders slumped and her ears drooped, this pack was dying off one by one and there wasn't anything she could do to stop it.Please try to hang on.She willed Foluke silently. As much as she hated to admit it he had grown on her and she cared for him,he was also one of the last connections she had with Daudi."Well..I guess I'll leave you to your work."She murmured and got up"Good luck."

Quote: "I'm alright, Kala," Omari stretched his front legs nonchalantly; ignoring his aching side.
Quote: Bem huffed silently, slowly retreating back to his pack. Surprisingly he didn't seem to mind that he was on lion territory. The big cats' vile odors entwined with his, practically making him unnoticeable to any other wild dog who didn't know him very well.
Quote: "That was Omari; he's really nice," Nia wove around Jake, her coffee colored eyes fixed on him.

( sorry for the late reply )

Marzipan stared hopefully back at the unknown dog. He was hoping it would be one of his family members, it wasn't. A sad look now washed over the bruised dog but he was still happy to know he was no longer alone. Marzipan raised a playful paw to the stranger and gave a gentle wag of his tail.
Zalika's low menacing growl died in her throat as Marzipan lifted a playful paw to her. She froze, stunned by his actions, and quite frankly a little irked. "Who are you?" She angled her head to the side.

Marzipan rolled back over, then up on to his paws, still sore from the antelope incident. "Marzipan" he said, now cautious of the slim yet muscled bound dog.
"What pack do you come from?" She extended her neck over and sniffed him to make sure this wild dog wasn't coming from Vundu pack.
"The Zinsolo" Marzipan said proudly. He was unaware of any other packs being in the Zinsolo reserve, but unbeknownst to Marzipan he was no longer in Zinsolo...he had entered Botswana.
Zalika's brow immediately shot up, "Zinsolo?" She wore a look of utter confusion as her unpleasant gaze locked on the proud wild dog.

( If you read my characters history you'll get it. )

"The strongest pack in all of...." Marzipan's voice chocked and came to a stop. He turned his face away from the new dog with sorrow in his eyes.
(I've read it, lol... Although Zalika has never heard of that pack, only the Kwando-lagoon pack and Vundu pack)

Zalika ripped her gaze away from him; grief holding its tight grip on her. "I'm sorry," she whispered faintly. She sank down onto her haunches, tears welling up in her own eyes.
Quote: Omari allowed his tongue to loll out into a dog grin as his eyes met Kala's. "Alright," he said simply.

Marzipan shook his body, sending a large cloud of dust into the air. He looked back up to now saddened dog, "It's ok" he said more confidently "No need for you to feel my pain". His voice cleared, "Do you and your angry friend have a home?" he asked looking into the bush where the other dog stormed off, making a new track.

The healer dropped her head onto her paws, an eerie silence fell upon the den as Sierra left.
Sierra walked out of the den,it felt like her paws were trying to tug her back but she ignored the feeling. She didn't need to be in the healer's way and if Foluke did die she wouldn't want to be there watching. She trudged towards her den,her paws felt as heavy as stones and her head hung low with sadness. It felt like the weight of the world was on her shoulders and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't keep the ones that mattered to her safe. She felt like she was failing her duty to her pack.

Zalika shook her ruff, sending her past scurrying. "Yes, not far from here," a stifled chuckle emerged deep from her chest when he mentioned 'angry friend'. Stiffly, she rolled onto her paws and began to jog in the direction Zola had gone in. Beckoning him to follow, she soon vanished in the undergrowth.

Marzipan followed swiftly. The other dog ran well and fast, and even though Marzipan was still hurting from previous injuries he managed to keep on the heels of her.
"What is your name?" Marzipan huffed. He had been running for many days and was really struggling now. There searing heat didn't help the situation either.
