Marzipan heard Zalika's call with is large batty ears. He turned on his heels and ran down the hill towards her. "I can smell them as well" he agreed.
Zalika kept her muzzle glued to the ground as she followed their very faint scent trail. "They're nearby," she tilted her head up and glanced around briefly.

Quote: "Yeah" he agreed. He could not yet see them though.

Zalika paused, her hackles slowly fluffed up. "Guys, come out here right now," the hint of a growl escaped with her words.

Badru barked out a laugh as he slowly slid down a tree. "Took you guys long enough," a cruel grin spread across his muzzle.

Sine's tinkling laugher emerged from a nearby bush, then the petite dog stepped out in the open.

Marzipan was not amused. But as the youngsters continued laughed, Marzipan found it hard to hide a smile crawling over his face. He didn't say anything though, to keep him self from the snap of Zalika.

Marzipan was confused on whether to make a joke of the situation or just let it be.....he chose the second option by leading the way back through the African bush towards home. "Home we go" he called.

Foluke settled down on the opposite side of the gazelle and began ripping the warm flesh from its body. After a few seconds he licked his lips, "Is it good?" He asked Kofi.
Kofi cocked his head for a moment, ears flicking back and forth. "Better than a mouse," he bared his teeth in pleasure before he went back to gulping down hunks of the gazelle. Hot coppery liquid filled his mouth and he clamped his jaw down more ferociously.
Sierra finished her grooming and laid down to wait for them to finish. She was glad Kofi seemed to be enjoying his time outside the camp though she knew it was a risk letting him out at his young age with other predators maybe lurking around. We can't protect him and his siblings forever, they'll have to learn how to deal with dangers sooner or later. She thought

Tayla jumped when she heard a twig snap. The wild dog almost seemed relieved to see another wild dog. She figured he must be friendly and replied back,"Hello. I'm Tayla."
Udo watched as the female jumped at his approach. He gave his bushy tail a slight wag but she didn't appear afraid of him anyways. He dipped his head in greeting when she returned his hello with a name. "Udo," he replied in his usual, less-words-the-better manner. He glanced around them before asking causally, "do you belong to a pack?"
