Sierra picked her way through the bodies and over to Foluke and the healer"How is he?"She asked her, examining Foluke. The healer sat beside Foluke, her eyes fixed on him. Marzipan stared hopefully back at the unknown dog. He was hoping it would be one of his family members, it wasn't. A sad look now washed over the bruised dog but he was still happy to know he was no longer alone. Marzipan raised a playful paw to the stranger and gave a gentle wag of his tail.
Zalika's low menacing growl died in her throat as Marzipan lifted a playful paw to her. She froze, stunned by his actions, and quite frankly a little irked. "Who are you?" She angled her head to the side.
Marzipan rolled back over, then up on to his paws, still sore from the antelope incident. "Marzipan" he said, now cautious of the slim yet muscled bound dog.
"What pack do you come from?" She extended her neck over and sniffed him to make sure this wild dog wasn't coming from Vundu pack.
"The Zinsolo" Marzipan said proudly. He was unaware of any other packs being in the Zinsolo reserve, but unbeknownst to Marzipan he was no longer in Zinsolo...he had entered Botswana.
Zalika's brow immediately shot up, "Zinsolo?" She wore a look of utter confusion as her unpleasant gaze locked on the proud wild dog.

"Not well," the healer said quietly, her ears flicking back and forth. "What a shame for such a strong wild dog like Foluke to have his own life torn out of him by the one he loved..." She paused for a moment, pondering. "It still shocks me that he didn't retreat back to Vundu pack; it would've been easier than having to go through this."

Omari nodded vigorously. "Positive," he twisted over onto his side.
Sierra shrugged"Perhaps he feels comfort in watching over his brother's pack, that and we're the only protection he has. He's definitely proven his loyalty,it's just too bad he may have paid with his life because of it."She sighed and sat down."Not well," the healer said quietly, her ears flicking back and forth. ( If you read my characters history you'll get it. )
"The strongest pack in all of...." Marzipan's voice chocked and came to a stop. He turned his face away from the new dog with sorrow in his eyes.

The healer released a small sigh, her face tight with grief. "I'll try my best to save him..." she whispered sincerely.
