Battle with a bobcat

I snuck out with my flashlight at 705 and still breathing. At lunch hour he will be offered his birdie Gatorade.. (sugar water)

I'm a stay at home mom and during school hours I usually spend hours with my birds. You can look thru my messages with my friends and family and all I seem to talk about is my chickens. I'm allergic to cats and we have a dog but the birds and I have that special bond mainly bc I hatched them and they spend their first few weeks of life in my room with me in their warm box so after a few days of them being hatched is when they get slightly handled more and more and of course they can see the tv and I just overly bond with them. Bert was with us for 2 years he actually came from my dad's game chickens. He will be very much missed 😢. Now I'm down to 2 laying hens which were Bert's ladies and my polish and apparently I have 4 tea cup bantams?? But my mother in law and I are sitting on the porch as I type Watching over the 3 chickens that aren't currently penned up due to they got turned loose by someone going up in our holler and took up homestead here and I cannot get close to them nor reach them where they roost. The bobcat will be dealt with along with our bear problem as we have a kill permit for the animals thru the dnr people. I secured the one for the bobcat earlier. It is now beyond personal with the predators
