Battling hens!

@Cryss how is your flock doing?
Hi @Brahma Chicken5000 . They're doing pretty well. I noticed egg production had gone down to maybe an average of 1 a day, (1 today, 2 tomorrow, 0 the next day, that seemed the pattern.). A couple days ago I got 3 eggs! Either hubby missed one the night before or the winter solstice is lighting up their lives.
Roopecca is looking handsome as his feathers are returning. Same for the buffs. Henneth is happy even as the bottom of the pecking order. She hasn't laid since early September. Wynnie is my winner because she still lays pretty consistently. She's always first to exit the coop in the morning chatting away. Fraggle still chases Henneth even wearing her fabulous yellow sunglasses. She's just not as much of a threat. Petra pecks Henneth but only in appropriate pecking order activities. I've not seen lice or mites anywhere. That's an experience I haven't yet encountered.
So how are your girls?

How is the flock Cryss?
Actually doing very well. No one is hiding, pecking order is normal, and Esmeralda is still pale but feisty as ever. I still get 1 egg a day but I'm slower than the girls so its often frozen. I'm watching weather reports showing how not only are we going to have a big storm but between now and Monday temps are going to be dropping 30, yes 30 degrees. Poor chickens. :(

My girls are doing well. They wish it was spring already.
I’m getting 2-5 eggs a day from my girls.
Did the lean to covering your run get finished?

No, my son in law injured his back and is on temporary disability. Everything came to a screeching halt leaving my yard a mess of saw horses and boards. I did some temporary fixes for now but I'm considering changing the plan. Because he can't do the construction I'm considering topping the run with hooped cattle panels and plastic, kinda like a hoop house. But for now everything is on hold. My daughters health is poor and now her hubby is down with his back. When everyone is in better shape we will begin again.

I’m so sorry to hear that your son in law hurt his back :hugs
It may be easier to use corrugated plastic panels set up at an angle over the chain link run to divert the rain and snow to the back.
