Battling hens!

The problem seems to be the Barred Plymouth Rocks’ attitude towards her. They may be running her off because she looks different with her beard and muffs.

Henneth is an EE but doesn't have beard and muffs. Shes quite sleek with a rose comb.

Maybe put the Barred Rock in "time out"

If having Henneth separated but visible so she can eat doesn't help Fraggle will definitely be going to swap places with Henneth, but not be visible, for a time out.

This morning Henneth escaped the cage as I was adding some bedding. She had the entire run to herself for just a few minutes. I didn't have too hard a time catching her to go back in the cage. I saw her eating so hopefully I can let her out tomorrow. After letting the flock out Fraggle did go up to the cage and peer in. I also saw Henneth move to the back when Petra looked in. As I hung out to watch the dynamics I saw Fraggle get pecked by Wynnie the SLW while at a feed station. I thought I saw a BO out of the corner of my eye do the same thing. Hoping this is a good thing not a bad one.

Pecking another bird by the feeder is normal. The alpha is just putting the subordinate in her place.

I've watched this video several times before. Always good for a refresher. I had no problem watching Fraggle and Wynnie establishing their places this morning. This was exactly the type of interaction they had as in the video. Perfect pecking order etiquette. The interaction between Fraggle and poor Henneth was nothing like this. It was constant, chasing her from food, water, roosts, sunspots, even chasing her from her hiding spots as she cowered in the nesting area just so she could chase her round the yard and pull out her feathers. If she couldn't see Henneth she would leave the flock and go searching till she found her and start all over again. I believe Henneth was getting weak. I'm just giving her a chance to eat and get strong, hoping Fraggle gets a grip and stops tormenting her.

I think you should remove Fraggle from the flock for maybe a week so that the pecking order can shift and she will be the newcomer.

Fraggle needs to be bullied by a more dominant hen or by you. Chase her away frim food and treats and just to do it. She will probably back down from harassing Henneth. She really does need a dose of her own med. Don't hurt her just harass her. It has worked for me.

I see packs of 20 for 12 bucks and i don't want that many. Anyone have experience with different brands? Which do I chose?

I think you should remove Fraggle from the flock for maybe a week so that the pecking order can shift and she will be the newcomer.

I'm waiting for rain to stop so I can let Henneth out and see what happens. If its the same activity I will be separating Fraggle.
