3: Put peepers in the mug of hot water

Right into the nostrils? Won't this hinder breathing? How long can they wear them? Do I need special pliers like I've seen sold in some kits?

Yep, right into the nostrils. They won't hider breathing unless the bird has a deformity. And yeah you should have pliers but like yourself when they sent my peeper kit they left out the kit part and just sent peepers. I figured out the hot water softens the plastic enough to where you don't need them.:)

Thank you.
The plan is...picking up a small coop Tuesday from @Brahma Chicken5000. Hoping to install it by Thanksgiving. Moving Petra in so she is seen but separate for her reintroduction. I work this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so I dont want to let her integrate until I can observe. Howerver hubby has Sunday off so I may let him have a go at that Sunday. If there is still a problem the peepers get in place Monday. Meanwhile fraggle will be taking the small coop for a bit and follow the same routine. This alll hinges on me getting the coop assembled in time.
