Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

Most breeds do get along however adding to an established flock always causes some aggression. Not that you can never add birds but introductions need to go slowly from behind a fence or cage for a few weeks before mixing and expect squabbling for a few months while the flock sorts out the pecking order.

I appreciate it. I just heard some breeds have aggressive tendencies. Things like that, is it bologna?
I have heard some people say that production reds (or hatchery Rhode Island Reds) can be aggressive, but I have never seen this in my flock and I've kept quite a few. I think it has more to to do with the personality of individual chickens than the breed, but both factors can probably be at play. I think the key is to give them enough space and a proper introduction.

Welcome. I believe that in the chicken world...size matters :D. My silkies grew up with my standards, but after about a year, I got tired of watching the silkies get chased all of the time and made them their own coop and run.
