Geez Jeremy I'm so sorry about kidding around. I truely am, I was just trying to be funny.

Jeremy says pick up and go and that Kim is a crazy woman!!!!!

I was kidding!!!!! Jeremy can show off all of his very hard work to a few people when he's comfortable.

I didn't mean to make this any harder than passing out the chick order.

I swear, I just thought everyone would laugh about it.

It would be nice to have a meet up sometime before the end of this summer ...

Jeremy's got a good sense of humor - he knows what happens when he's around chicken people !

LOL Kim, I'm not upset or anything, like I said I was actually hoping someone would want to host a mini gathering!

The zoo site I was actually looking into for the big Bay Area meet up this year. I so want to have another Bay Area chickenstock!

Maybe in 2012 if the end of the world doesn't happen we will have a meet up at my place... we might have things presentable by then.

So, I would be happy to host a picnic this summer...if anyone wants to come to Healdsburg??

Don't forget about the B/W chicks, either! I have put everything into a spreadsheet and would feel so sad to have to "delete" those rows... You are doing the test hatch now, right??
And did you see they sang, "Jolene" at the GRammy's tonight! Talk about an auspicious omen...!!!

Popping out all over!

Little grey dude: see feathering and coloring coming in a bit...

Dolly hid under mama all day and I wasn't in the mood to get pecked again...

Dawn,

I'd be willing to come up your way ... thanks for the offer .. even if it's a mini-meet up ... and Jeremy can still plan for one at the Oakland Zoo

I worked at the zoo when they were designing that area. My family used to have BDay parties there for the kids in the family.

How about Lake Chabot? There are areas there we could use for a chicken stock and lots of parking.

San Leandro Marina, ohoh oh Garin Park in Hayward. By the old barn, Coyote park. Lots of places. The Marina is maybe a good choice since it has the space and is also near so much. My favorite park on this side of the Bay though has always been Tildon. Montclair has a nice park too. Lake Temescal....so many places. Joaquin Miller.....oh wait......that's the makeout park.

I knew people in hayward that work for HARD and could find out what parks in Hayward could be used.

Thanks, Daphne. Awesome. Let's work on dates. I'll post on the Northern CA thread and with the Wine Country Chicken Chat Yahoo group as well.

Hey, Kim! I hope that my response didn't come across as judgmental. I didn't mean it that way at all! I just wanted Jeremy to know that we didn't expect him to host a meet up when we pick up our chicks. The big meet up we had at Cheryl's and meeting more chicken lovers at the Stockton show was so fun that I'm in for another meet up whenever we can arrange it. I wish that my house and yard was finished so I could host one. We've only lived here for over 20 years and are still working on it!
