Does he use the Kansas exit? I know there's NG buildings there.

I could get far enough to meet him that close if it comes down to it. Now to get to Turlock. HI KAREN!!!!!

I am easy to get to for you Kim...no freeway.....straight down Crowslanding to West Main Left at West Main to South Commons & Right at South Commons & you're here.!!! LOL

Ohhhhhhhhh I knew there had to be a way, just didn't know how. That's easy enough!

Wait. That sounds backwards. So Crowslanding is that much further out than 99? So opposite of the way I usually go. Sorta. LOL

OMG I have the noisiest quail chick. Been peeping for 2 days. Think I know who the roo in this little bunch is. Sure would be nice if it was that easy to tell on day olds. There's food, water, heat, a cooler area, and he stands right at the edge of the container or in top of the rocks in the water and stretches and peeps. Kind of laughed last night, wee hours of the morning, when I heard Vanessa say "omg little bird, go to sleep!" muuuuhahha I'm kind of an evil mom. haha

How funny. There does seem to be dominant ones that are alot mre active. I found the person wanting to see them & called & told her to come today because I wouldn't have them long. I took the dozens out of the incubator today & added them to the others in the brooder, unplugged the incubator in the breakfast nook getting ready to dump out all those tiny eggshells & clean it out.
I will be going outside soon.It is already light &AAron & I can get to work.

BTW.******************* Does anyone have Jersey Giants. I have a lady that has 2 Black cockerels & wants a mate. I have none. Let me know if you know anyone close enough to drive. It seems like thee was a lady in Farmington or somewhere near there but I can't remember.
Thankseveryone

He is a sweetheart. I pick him up with no problem. My Black Astralorp was a crazy roo!!! Too big for his own britches, but still not too bad as far as roos go!!!

Well I was either really lucky since I love roos or really unlucky with my Sumatras. I'm thinking I got a trio of the extra roo. There was one roo for sure and looked like 2 small hens. Well I don't know if I'm right yet, but I think the biggest hen is getting hackle feathers.

I did talk to the guy that needed a roo. Maybe I can remember who he was. I'm hoping I'm just imagining the feathers looking a little different, but that's not my luck these days. Hopefully the small hen really is a hen.

Just woke up. I know I know........Had to answer a pm I was waiting for, so haven't been outside yet. I really need to figure out if this is a roo. Plus I have to come up with new housing for them anyway. I had a good sized cage out there that I had to use, since I've run out of space.

At least my new Silkie roo will have a place, since the other 2 birds are going and I'll only be keeping the one pullet. I think! Been changing my mind about selling the other hen, but we'll see.

Wolftracks - It sounds like they are keeping you busy! I have learned with my little flock that they are always going to keep me on my toes! Whether they are hot or cold, pullets or roos, in or out of the coop at night... and the list goes on. My latest guess is when is my first egg going to come? They will be 5 months next week, so I'm hoping in the next few weeks I'll see an egg!!! But then again, maybe not! I'll probably end up with the stubborn girls!! LOL We will see!!
