Taylot had called & left a mesage while you & I were outside & busy working on the coop. Too bad we missed his call. He was going to come over & join us.....LOL.
I need to get everyone fed & the brooders watered early. Today is the Halloween Carnival & I have lots to do before it starts at 3.
My new eggs are on their way hopefully this set will arrive in a timely manner. The ones you saw yesterday were 12 days traveling. What a yucky mess they were.
I need to dunk & strip a BCM rooster that was free range that I found dead. My daughter's dog need to go backon his collar. He is wreaking havoc around here. I have been washing & keeping the feathers.

OH Karen I'm so sorry Teak has been sure a pain for you. To bad we didn't know Taylor was wanting to show.

Kelsy I think I have one Netherland, but a young doe. I'm using her to mix with my Lionhead, which are blowing their coats and look like someone took scissors to them. They have started looking worse and worse the past 4 days. Can't even tell some of them are Lionheads. LOL Hope those coats come in even prettier than before.

Someone around here has what you're looking for though. I have to remember who it is and hunt them down. I see them at the auction on Mondays.

Speaking of auction. I lost one of the little cockerels I bought last week. Watching one of the pullets. They look to be just moulting, but this guy was on the ground, cold, empty crop and nothing I did helped. Makes me so mad!

Karen only cut if you feel like it. I know you have your own life too. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

I know!! I'm a grumpy girl. And Fabio has decided this week he is like the man mounting everything that walks by him....and then our Olive Egger laid an egg and he's never done it before but came to the coop and sang the egg song with her....But he needs girls his size. Poor Olive Egger is getting tore up.
