Actually the reason I drove down there (quite a trek) was because I found these amazing plumeria trees on craigslist. Well Larry loves loves loves them having grown up in newport beach they are all over the place, but sadly we've had the hardest time trying to get them started...For $150 I got all three of these for this wonderful person that is moving and can't take them. They are 5 - 7 feet tall!! AND blooming now! I just hope I don't kill them
He really will need a pick-me-up when he gets home today, he's down with his 96 yr old father who's been given about 12mths...I know 96 yrs is a huge wonderful lifetime but you're never quite prepared when this becomes a reality
The drive worked out perfectly because Anna lives down there so instead of her driving all the way up...we met at Sams' agreed it's a very nice feed store.
Oh Cheryl those are beautiful!! I just lost my 95 year old grandmother last October and I was all the way in Georgia when it happened lived with her my whole childhood and always thought I'd be there when it happened. It's very hard. I'm sure he will love those flowers.
This is Marilyn and Jane (DH named them), and tomorrow I'm driving up to pick up Audrey. I put in a little roost board for them cuz they were already flying up to the top of the box they were in.
