Bay Area BYCers!

Thank you Cheryl for letting Scott bring you the chick we were so sad to have to let him go....how small again is the world .

He is absolutely darling, Oh I wish I knew someone breeding barred rocks, he came from really great stock and is developing perfectly, but he's a big bully in with the 4 week olds and a pecked on roo in the 6 week old pen. I think he is going to go live with my friend as her flock free ranges all day and he'll have a better chance of fitting in.

Yes he is the sweet bully likes to pick on the others but so beautiful. The other two chicks were heart broken.

But Mom and Dad-in-law have a Pheasant Farm down there and are calling it quits.
They are not selling the farm, just getting rid of the emus and bird stuff...and I only know he has many ages and sexes and probably will give them away, do not know .
They are getting on and want to travel...and have Emus to get rid of...anyone interested call Les Dodge at 707-998-9752
They live on Highway 20 in Clearlake Oaks, (Lake County).
They did not have a phone message machine last time I called them, and the best time to talk to them is early in the day, after noon Dad gets forgetful, and naps.

Any problems contacting them, feel free to PM me.
He also had equipment, large pen panels that can be moved around and some feeders, etc.
Thanks !

Is it that you can't keep a roo where you are?

Yea no roo's breaks my heart or we would have kept him.

Any Bay Area Bycers have Goat Does (Non Pygmy) for sale, and not super expensive, can afford $100 or so per Goat. Looking for 2-4 for my Mother in laws ranch, if you went to June 2010 Nor Cal Chickenstock, you saw it.

Thanks!

~Kelsey

AND I got 15 (I dropped one...argh) so 14 eggs from fitz farms of their fabulous wheaten marans eggs, so speckly dark..
