Not really Bay Area but just North East of you all in Lake County. My uncle is looking for a few pullets of any egg laying variety. If you know of any can you please share. Thanks!

Yes Debi and I are also going to work on the blue splash langshans together! Very exciting

Clayton breeding facility is almost complete, one more day of painting coops and pen signs and hopefully the auto waters will work today then we are done!!

I'm trying to think of another breed to put in there as well....

Wow! That looks awesome Cheryl!

So happy for you.

In other news, I have two confirmed broodies. Veronica (my remaining Mille Fleur Leghorn from Cheryl) and Jane (my BCM from Cheryl). So... I'm looking for eggs to put under the girls. I'll happily let the girls hatch up to a dozen and keep two or three of the hatched chicks and give the rest back. Let me know if anyone has any eggs they'd like to have hatched (or hatched and grown out) by broody mama hens.

I have some EEs and Olive Egger chicks. How young is too young for him? I think the oldest are 2 1/2 months maybe or closer to 3 months.

Hello all. So happy to see such a vibrant and friendly community focused on the Bay Area. I am looking for some help. I recently acquired some pullets from a guy on CraigsList. They all had mycoplasma in addition to slight cross beak. I had to cull the flock and am in the process of starting over--a rough start to chicken ownership. I'm looking for recommendations on breeders. I'm open to a variety of breeds with the emphasis on heathy.
