Bay Area BYCers!

When is the next time you will be out this way? Please let me know. If you were closer I'd drive out to you but Modesto is a bit of a drive.
I'm not sure, but I sold quail to some people in Santa Cruz a while back. I wonder how they're doing and if they have any to sell? I haven't seen them on here in a long time.

Looking for a good home for our White Cochin Frizzle Roo. We are so sad to see him go as he has become a family pet. Alas, we are not allowed to have roosters within city limits and this little guy as mustered up his first "crow". Please message me if interested. I will also be listing him on craigslist.

We are located in the Bay Area, just south of San Francisco.

Hi guys,

Can you recommend a place to get chick food either within San Francisco or not to far of a drive? We're running low but I'm busy until after 5:30pm everyday until the weekend after next and most feed stores that require a drive close at 5:30.

I think they should be getting chick grower now (3.5 weeks). Thanks!

Yikes!!! We better get the sign done for the pen! That's exciting, exciting news!!! Prayers said for a safe journey for them!
LOL yep we need a new sign, Brianne will have to squeeze that in between wedding dress sewing sessions!

I'm so excited and yes some extra prayers for their safe arrival would be great!!

All coops and pens at home being power-washed and new sand/shavings put in throughout. We had a baby skunk living in the bottom of the layer pen, under the nest boxes for a few days. Needless to say, I'm hoping the skunk-off product I got to spray the coop down with works!!

eeewwwweeee

That stuff works on dogs. I used to work at a place where the landladies GSP used to take the other dogs out to chase skunks. They'd all come back stinky and she made sure there were cans or that stuff handy. Good luck!
