Livermore here... Yep they have chicks. I went specifically to hold the babies and they wouldn't let me. Now I have to drive to Alamo to hold babies.

Anyone have fertile Buff Orpington or Maran eggs? Pullets work fine too. I just can't raise chicks from babies anymore after we lost one. It was just too hard on me. I'd rather have the hen do it or some one else.

Anyone interested in a pot luck or doggie walk at Del Valle? Or some other park.... it would be fun to meet some of you!!!

Do you have a doggie? I have a Weimaraner... super friendly. I think the 27th would be great... morning afternoon preference? My DH and I are easy.

I don't have a dog. I'm not here during the day, so haven't been able to get one. I keep talking about it. However, I doubt I will have done it by then.

Still walking sounds like fun! I think I might be an hour from you, more or less. How about lunch and a walk, or early afternoon for just a walk? Not sure if it will just be me, or if my DSO will be available.

Anyone else want to join us?

I'm in livermore also and would love to get the dogs together for a walk. I also take my horse to Del valle sometimes. I live near Sycamore Grove park which is also great for walks. I buy feed at livermore feed on 4th street, alamo hay & grain, or sunol feed.
