Bay Area BYCers!

Ooh, I was afraid you'd pop up and demand a reckoning today. Well, my page is readable, but isn't all I'd like it to be. Still, should we start a thread and ask for votes? I should probably remove the text that says it's still a work in progress.

Hugh, very interesting stuff on the Roman calendar. I never knew any of that.

Ms. Orp,

Friendly competition among friends, no score needs to be tallied. I think that your page won (my vote).

I have a few more pics to add to my first BYC page and also thinking of a theme for my next page and wondering how that links up with the first page...see adding another page.

It is time for me to get working on my nest box expansion and also start working on my chicken tractor/summer hen house.

Anyone want a Cochin rooster?

I vote Orp's page too!
Great job!!

Interesting stuff Hugh. I'd always heard the expression Ides of March, but never even thought about if it meant anything or not. lol

Wear green today!

Okay, East Bay-ers. Tomorrow some of us are meeting at Del Valle Reservoir in Livermore for a walk. We're meeting at 11am at the boat launch. So far, eastbaychicks and her DH, (and her weimeraner), and myself are going to be there. Anyone else want to come?

Just got back from Del Valle reservoir, where I got to meet eastbaychicks and her DH, and their sweet weimeraner, Haley, and karma, and her cute little rat terrier, Bart. It was great fun to meet some new BYCers. Plus, I think Bart has a crush on Haley!

We took a few pics at the end of the walk, which I am posting over in the BYC Mascots thread. Yup, forgot to mention that Fancy the Frizzle got to meet and greet everyone, too.

ETA - Here's the link to the Mascots thread...
