Lovely boy! I'm getting 5 straight run Heritage/Mahogany Rhode Island Red chicks in March, we plan on processing our extra males.

We might want to wait until they've been laying for a couple of weeks then. If I hatch out at least 6 pullets I wouldn't mind you taking 3 of them.

It would really stink though if I only hatched out 3-4 pullets.

I'm going to try some to make sure I have fertility. I figure if pullet eggs hatch that's fine, but can send you some as they get bigger. How about if you get 4 or 5 I get 1. If lower they're yours. Just want to see if you can get a good hatch out before I fill orders...

Sounds good to me!

While I am here, I was curious if any of you are familiar with barred cochins. This little fellow was supposed to be a barred rock. But I noticed he had feathers on his legs while the other barred rocks didn't. And he's very round... His face kind of has an expression of an NFL linebacker. I can't tell if its a boy or a girl. He's not aggressive at all. This picture is was taken a month ago @ age 3.5 months old. I don't see any obvious pointy saddle feathers.... but it's hard for me to tell.
