Cuddling pictures coming up! So far I have five/seven hatched out of the Splash Marans eggs...two are grey-ish and three heading to yellow. One has a funny toe, all are seriously feathered shanked, and one has Dolly Parton hair! They are stinking cute! (Clio--I was at Harmony Farms today getting bare root fruit trees! 'Tis the season...)
Ignore the marker-happy hands! Manicure coming soon!

Look at that face!
Dawn,
We went to Garden Delights on Stony Point/near Todd Rd. and got a 4-in-1 Pluot (four kinds of pluots grafted onto one tree) and a black cherry. These weren't little bare root trees - they will bear fruit this year if all goes well and if the squirrels don't eat all the fruit, should I plant them at my Berkeley house. I might just leave them here in Petaluma. I should meet up w/ you at the Gravenstein Apple Fair this August; my husband helps with the Masonic Apple Fritter booth.
BTW, I hope my cochins won't go broody soon!!
