Bay Area BYCers!

The situation in Clayton is going to work, even though it is heck-a-far out. I'm going to for sure take Ziggy, Fanny & Sadie the SPPRs there with Sir Giles and his girls there tomorrow. I have to take down some boards, clean the stales, put up roosts and nest boxes. Not quite sure how I'm going to get that done. Larry had knee surgery on thursday and is still in quite a bit of pain.

I'm thinking maybe I'll get a few guys from Home depot to help or maybe I can talk my son and his friend to help out.

I think I'm going to leave the rest of the flock, for the time being at the lafayette house...

My best friend Sharon came over last night she's into her 5th week of chemo, really strong doses and she's so sick...I'm making her chicken soup and quiche before I head out to Lafayette, why do things like that happen to amazing people like her

Who have you lined up so far, and what are they going to do? Make a list. Delegate.

What time will you finish making soup and quiche for your friend?
Then, what time will you want to start?
Are you needing to start in Clayton before you can bring birds out there?
Do you need people in Clayton working on the stalls/ nest boxes before you have people transporting birds.
Do you need to be in all places? Can Larry supervise, even if he can't physically help?

Remember, many hands make small work. Who else can help today besides me and whatttheflock (Tim)? (Tim has to finish at noon, but I could help longer.)

I can take the soup, quiche and hats to my friend later in the day, just have to finish cooking, say by 9am I'll try to leave Vallejo.

Yes work to clean up the TWO barn areas-they have shavings in them now (only 8 feet x 12 feet), take down a 8x10 board that is covering a window, put up hardware cloth (I have it) in it's place.(only for one of the two sections)

build some sort of roosts for 9 grown birds (one is sir giles) - unless we can all persuade Norm to take the Sppr trio - then it will only be 6 coronation sussex in there - I'm not sure if I should buy some 2 x 4s and build a ladder type (I've not done this before) Or just build small somethings else?

So yes work in Clayton first ( it's way out 15 miles off the freeway...argh) then to Lafayette, transport the 6 or 9 adults and some small roosters to Clayton

I need to spend the afternoon doing a ton of heavy cleaning, moving birds around etc back in Lafayette after all this - but I can handle that.

I'm trying to get ahold of my 18 year old son and maybe his friend to help today, but they must still be snoozing.

My computer is fixed! It went down right when I was PMing with Cheryl the other day but after a trip to visit the Geek Squad and a new graphics card, it seems to be back to normal. I wish that I could help today, Cheryl, but I have to work.

Will you be needing any help Monday afternoon, Tuesday, or Wednesday?

Cheryl, whattheflock and I can help you build roosts if you have the wood. We are very handy, have tools, and will travel. We could do that this morning. We could be out there at around 10. Will that help?
