Bay Area BYCers!

Wow, nice Orpingtons. I'm not sure if I've seen any more beautiful.

Sorry about the reduction...

Hi there!

I'm in Oakland, and wanted to say hi and ask you all local chicken havers a question...

What do you do with your extra eggs?

Ordered more chicks than I knew we needed thinking some might not make it and some might be roosters, but none of those things happened. They just started to lay and now I'm thinking we'll have way too many.

Does anybody out there sell them?

Hi All. Our 4 girls are coming up on 16 weeks now. We just changed to Layena food. They get their share of scraps, watermelon and worms. But, honestly, how big are these POOPS going to get????????? Every morning when I let them out, there is another prize winning POOP. Todays winning POOP is the size of the golf ball we put in the nest box in case they start laying. They free range the yard during the day and in coop at night.
They seem healthy and I want to know that the POOPS will stop growing in size at some point. Getting kinda scary!

I have spent my time at farms and don't remember poops this big.
