Bay Area BYCers!

What time do you think you will be getting to Santa Rosa? The construction is not a huge problem other than during commute times and it would be slow going even if there was no construction. If you are not used to the area, the other routes may be confusing. I would just go up hwy 101 to the fairgrounds. That is very simple. Turn right off 101 at the hwy 12 exit (head east towards Sonoma) and take the first exit on the right (about a 1/4 mile or so and that drops you off at the fairgrounds. It is very simple.

Thank you for the info! We have tons of road construction around here on Hwy 4. It has been going on for a long time with no end in sight. It's sad to say but I'm used to it by now!

Walt I'm ready to cull some in my silver penciled rock flock, keeping just the best. Do you mind helping me with the decisions? I have 5 boys, 6 girls 5 1/2 - 6 months old

Thanks Walt,
I hope to meet up with the BYCers for the brunch at 11:30. I don't know how much time to allow myself from Turlock with all this talk of road construction. I am usually an early bird always afraid to be late to anything.....LOL

The trip is going to take 3.5-4 hours depending on traffic. Since you are meeting later (at 11:30) I think you will miss the commute traffic up here.

I don't mind doing that, but where? Are they entered in the show?

Thanks Walt. I guess I will just let the handy Garmin guide my way & give myself 4 hours or so......LOL

I can look at the pics and maybe have suggestions. It is best to get profile, front, back and top down if you can. I use the telephoto feature so that I don't have to get close to the bird.
